Questions

What people ask before they book.

Something else on your mind? EmailOther questions? Email gmon@lifinity.ca.

Do I have to buy anything?

No. You'll hear what's recommended and why, and the decision is always yours.

How is the advisor paid?

Mostly through commissions from the insurance companies whose products are recommended. You hear exactly how it works, including any conflicts of interest, at the start of your first call.

Which provinces does Lifinity serve?

Nova Scotia, Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan. If you live somewhere else, Lifinity can't advise you yet.

Why a laptop or desktop?

You'll look at numbers and illustrations together on screen. A phone screen is too small to follow along comfortably.

What should I have ready?

Nothing for the first call. If you already have policies or a group benefits booklet from work, keep them nearby.

Is Lifinity a fit for newcomers?

Yes. Lifinity's founder came to Canada as a student. Some insurance options depend on your residency status, and that gets checked together on your first call.

Does Lifinity manage investment portfolios?

Not yet. Today, Lifinity's advice covers life and health insurance, including segregated funds. Investment services are in the works, and your advisor is working toward the licensing needed to offer them. Until then, stocks, ETFs and mutual funds aren't offered. Join the monthly email to hear when that changes.

An engineer's eye for risk. A buyer's discipline for value.

Engineering is where I started. I studied mechanical engineering in India and began my career at a petrochemical company, where you learn early that good systems are built for the day something goes wrong.

I came to Canada to study supply chain management. Soon after I finished, an accident showed me how quickly a peaceful life can change, and how much it matters to have a plan before you need one.

In Nova Scotia's health system I grew from stores clerk to senior buyer. My job was to compare suppliers, read the fine print and get the best value for the people who depended on us. Along the way, finance and planning became my passion, and in December 2025 I left that role to build Lifinity full time.

I bring the same discipline to your plan. I compare options across insurance companies, explain the trade-offs in plain English and put your interest before mine. That's why I tell you how I'm paid before you tell me anything about your money.

And I keep learning. After earning my RRA® designation, I'm working toward my securities licence, because your plan deserves an advisor who keeps getting better.
